I was born late “66” that’s 1966, to loving and God fearing parent’s. My father went to seminary school and was also a member of the seminary school choral group. My mother was a preschool teacher and member of the church choir.
From an early age they got me involved with music of all types from christian to secular. At the age of 4 I started singing at church and knew from that point on that is what I really wanted to do. While growing up in the church I learned worship was not just some songs you sing on a Sunday morning or night but a giving of yourself to worship Christ with all that you do.
As I grew up and got older I learned to play the guitar so I could accompany myself while singing. I then ended up joining the church worship team and again knew this is where God had called me. As a teenager though I felt the draw to want to be a “Rock Star” (Who Hasn't). After a couple years of pursuing that dream and finding out that it truly wasn’t bringing me happiness, I began to realize again the calling that God had put on my heart as a child and found that what really brings me happiness is leading people before the throne of grace, writing songs to glorify Christ Jesus and sharing them with other believers as well as non-believers.
Today I am one of the worship leaders at our church. I also teach guitar to anyone at our church who is interested in learning to play.
